November/December

Hello everyone!

Hope you had a great summer and fall of riding. Hopefully we’ll get some more good weather before winter really settles in.

As some of you know, my husband, Mark, “retired” from his regular job at the end of August. It’s great for him to be home now and not traveling the world!

We’ve spent most of the last 15 years or so running like crazy from one thing to another. We feel it’s time for us to step back and take a big-picture look at things, including our business here at Running D Ranch. With this in mind, we have decided to take a sabbatical for the 2015 season.

During this time, we will be dedicating a lot of time to riding and working with our own horses. We plan on doing another week-long pack trip and some shorter trail riding trips at places like Winding River Ranch in Grand Lake and a few other places. During this process, we will also be considering our business including what we teach and how we can better help the trail riding community. We also plan on spending a considerable amount of time working on the upcoming Equestrian Skills Park in Colorado Springs. We will continue to update the Facebook page with some of our adventures as well as the weekend training tips. Our online store will also remain open for any training products you may need.

This is big step for us to really spend time planning and evaluating both our personal and professional directions, learning how we can best serve the equestrian community. We believe this time will make us stronger personally and professionally. Perhaps we’ll even cross paths somewhere on the trail next year!

Thanks to everyone for your continued support!

May You Ride The Horse Of A Lifetime!
